Netflix is one of everyone’s favorite past times. Whether it’s a horror, comedy, or reality tv show, Netflix has it all! Here are my current top 10 favorite Netflix Shows.

1. Lost
Lost came out in 2004, and ever since it’s been a highly talked-about show! This realistic fictional show displays the events after a commercial plane crashes on an island in the south Pacific ocean. This island isn’t just an island, its a mysterious island with it’s own forces and twists and turns. Lost is a very thrilling, mind grasping show.
2. Supernatural
Supernatural, as you can guess by the title, is a show based off of fictional supernatural events. Two brothers, Sam and Dean, make a living off of fighting off demons and supernatural phenomenons. This show is a bit scary, so if you don’t like that type of thing, I don’t recommend this show to you. The show has 11 seasons, so it is a commitment, but totally worth it!
3. Departures

Departures is a travel reality TV show that shows the life of two Canadian friends traveling the world! For a year, the two friends, Scott and Justin, with their camera man Andre, drop everything and travel the world. This show gives a true experience on what traveling the world is like. They go to places such as Iceland, Morocco, Jordan and more! As of now, the show has 2 seasons on Netflix.

4. Sense8
Sense8 is a Netflix original that revolves around 8 strangers from 8 different cities who suddenly feel emotionally tied together. I personally like this show because it focuses on topics such as sexuality, gender, race and identity that other shows tend to ignore. The show has 1 season so far.
5. Parts Unknown
Parts Unknown is a travel food show with Anthony Bourdain. In this show, Anthony is seen traveling to the unknown parts of certain cities and countries. This show really displays the other side of the cities we think we know. He explores the culture, food, people and more.
6. The Office

The Office is an iconic comedy! You’ve most likely heard of the show at least once in your life. The show follows the everyday life of office workers in Pennsylvania. It’s produced without a laugh track or in front of an audience and has a single camera filming technique. The show has 9 hilarious seasons.

7. Extreme Homes
This show really reminds me of House Hunters. It goes across the country to find “extreme homes.” The show focuses on homes that are extremely eco friendly, oddly shaped, huge, etc.
8. The Layover
The Layover is another food travel show hosted by Anthony Bourdain! In this, he spends just 24 hours in a specific city, to represent a layover. He discovers new food and attractions in the city!
9. Bob’s Burgers

Bob’s Burgers is an animated sitcom that shows the life of a family who owns a burger restaurant. The family faces many situations, which always turn out comical! The show has 6 seasons.

10. House Hunters
House Hunters is the classic HGTV show. It’s a reality show that displays different people around the world buying homes. The homes range from mansions, to small apartments. There are multiple spin offs of the show on Netflix, as well.
