Ariana Grande recently released another collection of Christmas songs, this time being called Christmas & Chill. I’m not sure if I’m fond of the title being named after an annoying internet meme, but I’m willing to look past it because of how great the songs on the EP are.

Intro
The album starts off with the song “Intro”. It’s a short, 1-minute song, with mostly instrumentals. It’s a welcoming song with a warm vibe and a smart choice for the - well, introduction! My favorite lyric in this tiny track is when Ariana sings, “I want you with me on this road to the sky.” Her voice sound so beautiful and soothing when she says that.
Not Just One For Christmas
This song is a cute slow tune, and reminds me of something that would be playing at a Christmas display in a snowy downtown. It really gets you into the Christmas spirit and has you looking back on former Christmases.
True Love
“True Love” is a pretty upbeat song, that really doesn’t sound too Christmas; that doesn’t mean it’s bad, though. The chorus is really catchy! In this chorus, Grande sings, “Look at all the things my true love gave to me, My true love, my true love, You are my true love, Look at all the things my true love gave to me, My true love, my true love, You are my true love, You are my true love.” I love singing along to not only the chorus, but the entire song!
Winter Things
This song has a nice and happy ukulele tie to it. It reminds me of a Christmas in Hawaii! It has a very joyful feel to it!
Overall, I think Ariana really did a great job with this EP! The EP has a variety of sounds to it, but all revolve around two main ideas: Christmas and love. I think Christmas & Chill was a success, and definitely one of my favorites of hers!
