New York went from melting summers to toe-numbing winter in a blink of an eye. However, I am very happy that I’m able to bring out this amazing pink jacket again.

I’d like to start off by saying that my mother has impeccable taste, and I am so blessed to have her. I found one of her old jackets in the attic a winter ago and I now wear it every chance I get! The jacket is vintage DKNY.
I decided to pair the patterned jacket with a patterned crop top; it was a bold choice, but I believe it was the right one! The black and white tartan top matched looked great with the baby pink tartan of the jacket. I purchased both the crop top and jeans from American Apparel. I have recently fallen in love with their clothing!! Although most of their garments are very simple and body hugging, their pieces are still very versatile!
Lastly, I completed the look with some black Chelsea boots from Topshop.
This outfit almost makes winters in Brooklyn bearable!
