You’re not a real fan of R&B Soul unless you’ve seen Thundercat live, and I will stand by that. Thundercat’s “In Yo Girls City” tour is a don’t miss, and I made sure to see it for myself this past Sunday at Arizona Financial Theatre. Performing songs from his 2020 album, It Is What It Is, like “Funny Thing” and “How Sway,” accompanied by Thundercat’s madly insane guitar skills and beautiful vocals – it’s safe to say the crowd was mesmerized and jammed the night away.
Thundercat will continue touring in the U.S. through the end of October before venturing into his South American leg, and we hope to see more from him soon.
