Alternative-punk band Militarie Gun brought their “Life Under The Gun” tour to The Atlantis in Washington, DC. The “Life Under The Gun” tour included Spiritual Cramp and Pool Kids on all dates, along with Spaced, Roman Candle, and Death Lens opening on select dates. The band has had immense success from their debut album, Life Under The Gun, released in June 2023 on Loma Vista Recordings. The band reaches all corners of the music industry with the genre-bending album – Life Under The Gun has one foot in the punk scene and one foot out.
Militarie Gun performed many songs from Life Under The Gun, keeping the crowd moving even during the less energetic songs, and especially during the faster songs. The band also performed some deep-cuts, like “Dislocate Me” from their 2020 debut E.P., My Life Is Over. Lead singer Ian Shelton even shared the mic with Christine Goodwyne, the lead singer of Pool Kids, toward the end of the set.
