Wildermiss

Underground indie-pop trio Wildermiss joined Jukebox the Ghost on their spring tour where they made a stop at The Vogue in Indianapolis, Indiana. To say that this opener-headliner-duo is perfect would be an understatement. Wildermiss is the kind of opener that people come right at doors to see – many fans were lined up outside sporting their Wildermiss merchandise.

The Colorado natives brought nothing but electricity to the stage as they opened their set with their 2020 rock and roll single, “Supermagical.” The front row of the crowd screamed every word to the song as though they had been waiting their entire lives for that moment, and as the band’s set progressed, the room swelled with passion. Wildermiss performed songs from their latest E.P., New Year’s, which was released in January of this year. The new E.P. brought an electronic feeling to the band’s sound with the distorted vocals and heavy lead guitar on the song “Decay.”

Wildermiss definitely left the crowd wanting more. The energy they brought lasted throughout their entire set, and it was obvious that even those who hadn’t heard of Wildermiss became fans the instant they started playing. It’s bands like these – the ones who leave everything they’ve got on the stage – that really make a lasting impression on the crowd.
