Water From Your Eyes: supporting Snail Mail

Water From Your Eyes

Browns Island (Richmond, VA)

Electrifying alternative pop band Water From Your Eyes performed in Richmond, Virginia, on the second to last night of Snail Mail’s “Valentine” tour. The band consists of two creative powerhouses, guitarist Nate Amos and vocalist Rachel Brown. The duo has had an eventful year already, signing to Matador Records before hitting the road with Snail Mail across North America, leading up to the release of their 5th full-length album, Everyone’s Crushed, on May 26th. Three singles have been released from Everyone’s Crushed, one being “Barley,” which the band performed live. Rachel told the crowd that their music makes more sense at a basement show, but that didn’t stop them from winning over a crowd. Their music is the epitome of alternative, and if you’re a fan of Wet Leg, Water From Your Eyes will fit right in on your playlists.
