On Saturday, November 4th, Australian bands Vacations and Last Dinosaurs took Seattle, Washington’s Showbox stage for the perfect groovy-pop evening. The theme of the tour was taken very seriously with details such as nostalgic 2000s inspired visuals on screen during the time between bands all throughout the show. With the DVD Video logo bouncing on the screen, the crowd was hyped for Vacations to kick off the special double feature show.
Opening with “Next Exit,” Vacations set the tone for the night with such high energy coming from the audience. With a fully packed venue, show-goers were dancing and grooving all throughout the set. The band wrapped their performance with their latest track, “Mid West,” to transition the second half of the show. Last Dinosaurs took the stage shortly after to deliver another energetic set, opening with “Afterlife.” The night was filled with high spirits and excitement; Tourzilla was definitely one for the books.
