Tiny Habits: Little Bit Farther

El Rey Theater (Los Angeles, CA)
03/16/24

On March 16th, Tiny Habits brought their “Little Bit Farther” North American Tour to the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, California. The harmonious trio, made up of artists Maya Rae, Judah Mayowa, and Cinya Khan, first formed in 2022, after they met in Boston, Massachusetts while attending Berklee College of Music. Since forming, Tiny Habits has found success both as a backing band and on their own as a group. They have opened for artists such as Noah Kahan and Gracie Abrams, and have provided backing vocals for Kacey Musgraves, Lizzy McAlpine, and more.

Opener Beane kicked off the night with an emotional performance. As soon as Tiny Habits took to the stage, a hush fell over the crowd. Even in a room filled with 700 people, their performance felt very intimate as their voices blended together seamlessly. Accompanied by a small backing band and Cinya on acoustic guitar, the simplistic stage setup added to the warm feelings already present in the room. The band played a few of their recent releases, including “flicker” as well as several covers, before closing out the night with their biggest hit, “tiny things.”
