Indigo De Souza: All of This Will End

The Broadberry (Richmond, VA)
07/26/23

Indie-pop artist Indigo De Souza brought her “All of This Will End” tour to The Broadberry in Richmond, Virginia. The venue was packed with fans already when supporting act Alfred. took the stage. The alternative hip-hop artist, local to the city of Richmond, brought great energy to the crowd, certainly earning plenty of new fans.

The crowd was eager to hear their favorite songs live when Indigo took the stage, kicking off the show with “Time Back” from her most recent release, her 3rd full-length album, All of This Will End. With such honest and straight-forward lyrics, it’s easy to relate to every word Indigo writes. All of This Will End consists of so many beautiful melodies, and could be the soundtrack to a coming-of-age movie on its own. “Parking Lot” and “Not My Body” have two opposite sounds – “Parking Lot” being more upbeat while “Not My Body” is slower and melancholy – but the crowd danced all through the night. Indigo performed fan favorites, like “How I Get Myself Killed” from her 2018 debut album, I Love My Mom, and “You Can Be Mean” from All of This Will End, where the crowd chanted along together in unison, “When will it ever get any better? When’s it going to get any better?”

The “All of This Will End” tour supports Indigo’s newest release, All of This Will End, which was released on April 28th, 2023 on Saddle Creek Records. Be sure to keep an eye out for more tour dates from Indigo and stream her newest release!
