I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME: GLOOMTOWN

The National (Richmond, VA)
03/24/24

Alternative pop-rock project I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME performed in Richmond, Virginia, to a packed crowd of loving fans. Frontman Dallon Weekes, formerly in The Brobecks and Panic! At The Disco, began the iDKHOW project in 2016 as a spinoff of The Brobecks. Dallon has grown a devoted fan base that will listen to his music no matter what the band name is – quite a few The Brobecks songs were even weaved seamlessly into iDKHOW’s set.

The “GLOOMTOWN” tour is in support of iDKHOW’s 2nd full-length album, GLOOM DIVISION, released just under a month ago on Concord Records. The artists’ sophomore album consists of their known and loved alt-pop melodies with relatable and sometimes dark lyrics. It’s clear that iDKHOW thrives off of crowd interaction, as Dallon spent much of the set either commanding the crowd or even going into the crowd to sing along with everyone.

The “GLOOMTOWN” tour is just the beginning of a busy year for the band, and their live show is not one to miss. Be sure to watch for a show near you, as they’ll be at various festivals and even touring internationally through the year.
