Not to brag, but my theme has been looking pretty nice lately, and it’s all thanks to the filters and effects I use!! So, I thought I’d share some of my favorite apps I use to edit my photos.
1. VSCO Cam
My absolute favorite app for editing my pictures is VSCO Cam. VSCO Cam offers many filters and editing tools. The app lays out your pictures just like they would on Instagram, so it helps you plan out your theme.
I know, I know; Afterlight does cost money on the App Store, but it is totally worth it! Afterlight carries a ton of filters and effects for your editing pleasure. The app contains not only filters, but light leaks, borders, overlays and more! It also has a really easy tool where you can make your own effect!
Snapseed is a more professional photo enhancing app. This app will make your pictures look more HD and skillful.
Facetune isn’t just meant for tuning up your face, it can also be used on pictures of anything else . It’s a good app for touching up, erasing, and whitening pictures.
Glitché is an app filled with super cool effects. The app can glitch, invert, slide, scrape and do so much more to your picture!
SKRWT is a perspective correction app that fixes the perspective, ratio, crop, and grid of your photo. It will make your photo appear more symmetric and straight.
Darkroom is another filter app with endless editing tools. There are many filters in the app and tools to accommodate those. You can change the colors, curves and more without having to take the extra step of importing!
Picsart is like Photoshop for mobile!! It carries so many editing tools it’s hard to name them all! You can edit just about everything with this app.
Fragment is an app that lets you make prismatic effects on your pictures. The app contains many shapes and objects that let you change your photo around, and it looks really cool. You can mess with the blur, outline, contrast, brightness, etc.
Chromic is an app filled with filters, but for videos!
I hope you downloaded at least one of these and you’re enjoying it. I can’t wait to see what you do with your new Instagram theme. 🙂
